Same! I had a 12 year old account that never had so much as a strike and then I started to go viral and made it into the top 1% club on there or whatever and then they banned me for no reason at all. Then, my partner let me use his old account because he wasnt using it and it was also around 12 years old (I had a new phone and VPN). Same happened! I went viral speaking truth, they got scared BAM banned… no appeal allowed. Permanent ban on both! Nothing I shared was against the rules. It was just anti violence and anti fascist.

Oh, and r/economiccollapse is where it started, after Elon threw a fit and the site cracked down thats the page I was going viral on all the time and they switched mods at the same time Elon bitched… and then I got banned. Coincide? Idk, but it pisses me off. Not a perfect system but look into Land Trusts in your areas. Its a way for people to get affordable homes. In Portland we have one called Proud Ground. Basically the trust owns the land and you buy the home. They dont legally get to tell you wnat to do though on said land. They arent there to micromanage like an HAO. They just make it affordable this way. When you eventually sell the home you sell back into the program for other low income families and get 25% of the market value as well as any repairs you made. You can also choose to keep it and pass it down in the family / give it to family if you want to upgrade someday.

This is what my family did. Its not going to fix the housing crisis but I wish more programs like this existed…oh… and put a cap on how many homes a corporation or entity can buy! No homes should be sitting open in a housing crisis!

P.S. Look into IDA programs too for the down payment! Oregon also has that available and its how we saved for the down payment. Our home is 3bd 2bth in a major city and we only paid 199k for it and our down payment was mostly IDA grant money.

I am an American but I have family still living in Canada and go often. I think any way Canada can branch out to the external world and away from the United States is a win right now. I am deeply worried that if Trump succeeds in getting Greenland he will come after Canada. These dictators think they own everything. You all need to protect yourselves and your culture. You can be judgmental towards China for their history and how they treat people (they have colonized as well) and also use these partnerships to strengthen your country. I do hope Canada becomes more and more independent because it has the potential to be a serious world power as the United States crumbles. Once the court systems collapse here soon the likelihood of a civil war is insanely high.

Its worse knowing these people live near me and would cheer if my neighbors (and theirs!) got taken. I know people that are immigrants and genuinely are good people. I KNOW if ICE took them and faked the story these people would cheer it on. Its absolutely disgusting to me. Hits a real moral thing for me.

We need a peer to peer version for just local community then because this is disgusting. We have a right to protect ourselves, families and neighbors from the abuse.
