Fun fact this was how Apple originally envisioned all apps would work on the iPhone.

I’m not sure if it’s the same everywhere but in Canada you can for sure. Kindle has a very slightly better selection (small press horror lit tends to be missing from Kobo) but doesn’t support Overdrive here.
Not as good as not giving Google money but if you use a VPN and set your country to India or Argentina you can get premium for roughly $2/month
