I read the comic afterwards, expecting a more cohesive experience. It’s my opinion that neither are very good. It’s not the raunchiness of the works that make me dislike it, it’s that it has little to do with either driving the plot forward or building on a cohesive theme. If the story was about sexual liberation or identity, or anything like that I would award it more points. But to me it’s just disappointing titillation (if you’re into being eaten by little mouths) without much substance.

It presents what I think could be cool ideas but then doesn’t go anywhere interesting with them.

Film was hyped up by so many legendary creatives - in reality it was a lackluster in plot and filled with exceedingly strange and alienating fetish content (getting bitten by mechanical teeth). Disappointing. See Flash Gordon instead.

EDIT: What I said in this comment probably is not true. While the changes I made were added to the map, only users can create pokestops via a review process, apparently. Must have been a coincidence.

Niantic uses Open Streetmaps to create their pokestops. Somebody probably created a P.O.I. on the island based on a real statue or structure which an algorithm then automatically turned into a pokestop.

Source: I sometimes contribute to OSM and the additions I make often turn into pokestops a couple of weeks after, especially in remote areas without other P.O.I.s nearby.

Maybe if you’re making the exact same type of cake. To me, boxed cakes always taste way too sweet, and I think it’s strange that tyere are no fruit chunks in them instead of powdered fruit.

I think government pension is probably one the least capitalist ideas out there. There’s no such thing as a pure capitalist society, just like how there’s never been a true socialist society. Only ones that subscribe more to their respective ideas more than their peers. To me, what makes a society capitalist is a foundations belief in a free markets and the voluntary trade of goods and services, and a socialist society is one where the means of production are pushed towards collective ownership.

I think our ecological failures are often misattributed to economic philosophy. Collectivist societies have also caused irreparable ecological harm in the past, so the issue can’t be capitalism exclusive.

Capitalism, like socialism, means many things to many different people. At it’s core capitalism is simply a philosophy built around the idea of the free exchange of goods and services between individuals. I don’t think most people would that infinite growth is an essential part of that equation as there are real examples of capitalistic economys that shrink every year.

I think it’s like making a cake using box mix. Of course home made is infinitly better but at least you still have a cake at the end of it.
