I have seen them not posted by bots, as I have posted them on a Lemmy burner account. So this is somewhat personal for me.

The problem is that there is a current developing dogma around AI that, because the last example you gave exists, then it must be opposed in all cases. There is a lack of nuance. That is why there may be some “pro-ai” posts, to point out this nuance. The only reason they exist is due to the bias against it as a whole.

Pro, but in a much more direct fashion that exists currently. I do believe that not participating in elections leads to worse outcomes, and that unless you want to have a bloody revolution , which I and the overwhelming majority of people do not want, then democracy is really the only path forward.

As for the tiktok app (which I have little to no interest in myself), there is loops, but it is still early in development last I checked. I personally feel that the better route to go would be integrating “stories” style posts on mastodon or the threadiverse. My friends who cling to using Instagram use stories quite a bit, so that is definitely a format that needs work.

The only drama I am aware of recently was a piefed admin blocking some smaller anarchist instances, but it stirred up a shit storm and they reversed it. Not sure if that is the drama in question.
