No way in hell I’d want to be a farmer these days. That shit seems like the most stressful career possible.
Something like gardener/groundskeeper looks good to me though.
76·10 days agoI don’t know if this was a test run or an actual operation of some kind, but Russia evidently wants to carry out more of these attacks, as they have been mapping out these cables for years now, and have recently been running national internet outage drills.

It would seem that you have not even done some preliminary research on the subject.
Trying to have a discussion with someone who has very little knowledge of this issue is not an easy task, nor is simplifying it.
It is a long and complex history, and whoever you talk to is going to have different answers about how long it is, what happened, and why it happened.
While nuance and much important additional information is lost in Wikipedia articles, they are a very useful resource for understanding the main points, and they also tend to be one of the least biased sources. If you are genuinely interested in learning more, this is a good place to start:

15·10 days agoI’m not from the US but I know that I would really struggle morally to cast a vote for either party.
Yes, voting for Trump because of Palestine is stupid, but I can easily see how voting for the party that keeps sending money and weapons, and supporting them in the UN, while pretending to ask them to “be more careful about killing civilians”, would not be very desirable either.
The US electoral system is absolute dogshit, but in my opinion the Dems lost this election all by themselves.

3·22 days agoIt also says that younger generations (who presumably consume the most social media) are the biggest readers of books, and that they appear to be the most ready/keen to enact change.
Based on the data presented in the article, it’s clear that you can consume both types of media/information simultaneously without “throwing away your phone”.
Relations between Ireland and Israel have long been strained because of Ireland’s stance on Palestine.
Yeah it’s all Ireland’s fault that relations are strained 🤦♂️
1·29 days agoI really hope you’re right about that - a quick dive into the Facebook cesspit shows that there seems to be a lot of support for his nuclear potato plants.
We absolutely are not. The only reason it may appear that way is due to older generations voting as if it’s a two party system. I believe that a poor understanding of the preferential voting we have is largely to blame for many of the ALP/LNP voters.
Younger generations preference third parties much more, and the first party preference for ALP/LNP is decreasing with each election.
You can’t honestly think our system is anywhere near as bad as thatbof the US when we currently have more third party seats than ever. Hopefully we will have even more next year.
That’s my belief versus the mostly confirmed accounts that are based on limited evidence.
Describing it as factual was my mistake, but I did so because of how incredibly likely I think it is.
There’s no way anyone can know that without a full and transparent investigation being done, which Israel did not allow to happen.
That said, there are many indicators that they did a significant amount of damage.
One example:
All the burned bodies and cars from the festival that were somehow burned by Hamas (with molotovs?), and
definitely notby Apache helicopters equipped with hellfire missiles. Oh… except for the handful of bodies that turned out to be Hamas fighters. THOSE ones were killed and burned by hellfire missiles, but the Israeli bodies were burned by Hamas. And so were their cars of course. Let’s not worry about why the cars were trucked off far away, shredded, and compacted before being buried. Definitely has nothing to do with making it harder to investigate what actually happened to them.Much of this info has been available for over a year now.
I don’t think it’s hard to imagine how tanks, artillery, and apache helicopters would do more damage than rifles and a handful of RPGs.
You just have to look at the incinerated cars and bodies from the festival to see how much damage the helicopters did there.

Their plans were clearly to capture and ransom them. Even Israeli witnesses testify to that, as well as to the fact that the IDF did the vast majority of damage.

Ignoring the insurmountable pile of contradictions in the bible, hell is actually the default afterlife destination due to humans being born with “original sin” (don’t know if that applies to embryos, but apparently god wasn’t aware of embryos when the bible was written).
Each sect has their own beliefs on the matter, with the majority believing all babies and children go to heaven, even though the bible does not explicitly say that this is the case.
