Had to try really hard to get into it but when it clicked, it clicked. Really enjoyed it but can’t seem myself ever playing again

Lords of the fallen can be parry based depending on your build. That said there really is nothing like sekiro
Can’t believe the hate that days gone gets. Except for the walking cut scenes fuck them
Also "return of the obra dinn " very different type of game but just magic
Senuas sacrifice is that specifically about schizophrenia I believe
Yeah I am really enjoying it. Had a great year for soulslikes with lies of P and now this. I am playing on ps5 and performance is pretty good but framerate drops do happen and some areas are pretty rough. I don’t really have any problem with the enemy placement except where I am currently stuck fighting 3 mini bosses and a bunch of dogs/ranged attackers in a row which is a bit much. I recently recently replayed all the souls games and think the comparison to ds1 is probably correct but its parry combat is closer to sekiro though not quite as snappy.
Thanks internet person I made it tonight and it was great
Thankyou
Thankyou
Seconding recipe please . It looks so good
Totally agree, it is VERY influenced by the from games but also it's own thing and has extended the soulsborn/sekiro formula in an interesting way with a unique story. I am about an hour from finishing it and was looking at buying the add on but it's just a couple of items so no thanks. But I will totally buy the DLC. It's a fun game and imho the best of the From derivatives by far.
You got this. Only way to beat ishin is practice each stage until you got it down almost flawless, by the time you finish the fight you will feel like a god.I highly recommend the git gud YouTube channel as it explains what skills you need to build in order to win. You got this
Playing lies of P and highly recommend it if you like soulsbourne games. Combat is a mix of bloodborne's aggression and sekiro's block mechanics. You really can't viably play with a dodge focus, at least until after mid game (where I currently am ) but if this description sounds good to you I would pick it up without hesitation.
Agreed I don’t know why it gets so much hate. I mean the poison spitting statue in the dark level is pretty frustrating and the graphics are what you expect from an old game but I had a heap of fun with it.
I loved the rest of the books, think it really picked up in the second and third and is great by the current one. I found it laugh out loud funny in places .I would highly recommend you continue with the series as they just get better and better .
Naturopathic “doctor”
Unpopular opinion obviously but I loved ds2, except for the poison spitting goddam statues and the level that was so dark you couldn’t even see the goddam poison spitting statue before it spit goddam poison at you in the dark.
From games all have amazing soundtracks. I just played through everything from demon souls to Elden ring including sekiro and bloodborne and realised they all have amazing, but very different, soundtracks. Most bosses have completely unique soundtracks it’s amazing the attention to detail and you miss it if you aren’t specifically listening for it .
No he hates being called Garry it’s a running joke with crowds at the dollop live shows.
Agreed I hated that first mob around the fire and could not get past it. Gave up and came back after Elden ring and loved it. Also dark souls, I said fuck it during zens fortress but eventually came back started again from scratch and really enjoyed it.
