Looks like they just were spending too much and needed to clean up. On the positive side, they're offering all affected employees 6 months of severance + healthcare. That is really generous of them.
Update (9/11/23): A TikTok spokesperson told Media Matters that “WGA has been inadvertently blocked as part of the platforms’ protections against QAnon conspiracy theories.” Searches for “WGA” and related terms now appear to function normally.

Will be playing a lot of Like a Dragon: Ishin!
I am going to be playing:
RimWorld
Outer Wilds
Fatal Frame MotLE
Dave the Diver
This is what I will be getting if you’re curious. Going to sit on it for a day or two before pulling the trigger.
Oh, I am a sucker for farming sims. I just thought that the game looked interesting and wanted to share the article. I would still wait for post-release reviews first before making a decision.
I like how the games allow the ability to freely move in and out of my ship and the game worlds offer a good amount of exploration. And it might sound silly, but I like being able to perform maintenance on my ship.
Again, this is just my thoughts on it and might not give off the same feelings to others.
Outer Wilds and Subnautica don’t have ship fights but they give off a similar feel to star citizen/ no man’s sky (to me).

Oh, good call! Playing this on the Steam Deck is an excellent idea.
I thought it was fun, despite some clunkiness. I also played it on gamepass and clocked in 100-200 hours. I intend to pick it up again once the game matures a bit more and receives additional expansions.
