It’s the fifth Babylon station. The first three were destroyed by sabotage and the fourth disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

The first fell to sabatage. So, they built a second one. That fell to sabatage. Same with the third. So, they built a fourth one. That burned down, fell into an atmosphere, then fell to sabatage, but the fifth one… stayed up! And that’s what you’re gonna get, lad: the strongest space station in these sectors.

it might be time for Babylon 5 rewatch.

My scifi fix hasn’t been satisfied by recent Hollywood attempts, need to go back to basics.

Such a great show. Humans were rarely the most interesting people. I wish there could’ve been a much better remastering than what we got, but it’s still worth watching. The way everything slowly accelerates through the end of season 4, by which the pace is breathtaking. You can’t take time to do that any more with streaming shows.

The title is a quote from Ambassador Kosh, (the weird looking tall guy in the space suit in the center of the picture.) Said quote refers to events in the TV show Babylon 5. He is basically telling either Captain Sheridan, Commander Sinclair, or possibly Ambassador Delenn, that it is far too late to try to change what is about to happen.

The picture in question is of the primary non-human ambassadors and their support staff.

From Left to right Vir Kotto (attaché to Ambassador Mollari,) Ambassador Londo Mollari of The Centauri Republic, bassado Kosh of The Vorlon, Ambassador Delenn of The Minbari Alliance, Lennier (attaché to Delenn), and Ambassador G’Kar of The Narn Regime.

Gotta watch the 5th season. We loved the first four but it felt like it wrapped up really well, so we’ve been struggling to start the 5th.

You’re good, honestly. Unless you’re really invested in the Londo/G’kar storyline, the 4th season does indeed wrap everything up.

It doesn’t help that the first half of season 5 is the worst part of the series(well, barring Day of the Dead). It took ages for me to push through that, but the rest was a satisfying conclusion.
