Yesterday I read the Wikipedia article about this topic, but they mostly mention how it was done in the 90s and 2000s. Where/How do people do that as of today?

I know people meet up on Reddit. But I think I’m more vanilla. All I’ve seen is people wanting to roleplay quite specific kinks. I like roleplay. But most of these subjects aren’t what I need. Also I’d prefer nobody sends me DMs. (And stay away from Reddit and Discord if I can.)

I’d like it anonymous and with no strings attached, if possible. And I don’t want to do voice/video. Text is fine. Or maybe a game. Ideally something that you can simply try out or watch what other people do with it and see if it’s fun.

Any cybersex-aficionados out there?

    Virtual role playing games as cyber sex is a big hobby for me and I do that in a community chatroom where you can find people based on common interests. For me, it was a huge thing finding a community where I can not only find new people but find people based on common interests to have a easier start and not wasting time and effort in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, I havent found a English community so far, only a country based one. In the end, every chatroom can be a good place to start. A dating app can also be a good starting point, if it is not the goal to find ONS but friends. I think, it is important, that the service focused on communication and exchange and not on meeting other ones.

      Thanks for the insights. If I might ask: where are those chatrooms? Discord? IRC? Some random website? Telegram? I don’t have the slightest idea.

      I’m not really interested in dating apps or other chatrooms. I’d like to keep these things separate to manage expectations on both sides. I don’t want to hookup in real life. I also don’t want to annoy random people with internet porn. I think there should be specific places to meet for that so nobody gets upset and drawn into that without specifically signing up for it.
