This is why, when you’re rich, you don’t want to look rich. In my experience, the very rich guy would look like the gentleman on the left. The guy in the suit, the guy being entrepreneurial, is the one pinching pennies

I remember our ceo would come to do our all hands meetings and he always dressed casually but you could just tell by the fit of his clothes he probably got them from somewhere with a tailor. So while the clothes looked normal the fit just stood out to me and made him look well off

Unrelated to anything else, but as someone that likes to thrift clothing, I highly encourage you to find a good local tailor. It’s surprisingly cheap and, as you’ve apparently noticed, it makes a subtle but impressive difference in the clothes you wear.

“If you divide $900m by the popluation of…”

Sorry, just trying to get ahead of the people who should probably find a bridge and help “lower the denominator”, so to speak.

Richie Rich debuted in 1950. $10 would be equivalent to $130 today. Those are some expensive overalls.

Also $900 million would be like $11 billion. Pretty sure you can buy off politicians for way less.

Definitely missed that lol. No idea why everyone is so mad about my comment though.

900 million can buy you almost entire legislature in any country easily. And I say almost assuming/hoping that a small percentage of politicians are not bribable.

Corrupt officials can (theoretically) be ousted if the corruption comes to light. Spending more money to influence dopes to duly elect someone who will legislate against the dopes’ best interests is watertight.
