I can’t help but think there’s a late 20s lanyard dork who posts on r/neolib and has a Twitter handle with a Taiwan flag is in some semi-influential position in Harris’ campaign who slipped that in as an “epic own” to us “Bernie Bros” who “harass” him online.

    Left Reckoning has a recent episode where they talk about this, here’s a relevant clip. Apparently even though FTX has gone down the crypto industry has figured out that they can effect policy by holding a sword of Damocles over politicians’ heads and saying “don’t screw this up for us or we’ll spend this money on your opponent.”

    Anyway I bring this up because I think that this is the whole reason the Kamala camp came out with this in the first place. They’re saying to the crypto industry that they intend to play ball and not to drop that money on a bunch of ads two weeks before the election.
