    I’ve long had the opinion that the kids that vote in this are a reflection of what their parents are talking about, which helps to explain its apparent accuracy.

    The mock election that started in 1988 has accurately predicted the winner each time, save for 2004 and 2016

    well the first one was blatantly stolen in front of the whole god damn country so I don’t actually think that that’s a knock against the poll’s accuracy, buuuut the fact that 2016 was also an outlier and that this race has strong 2016 vibes gives me pause.
