I’ve also seen them try to smear him as an elite because he went to a school that they spelled out cost 40,000 a year.

All that tells me is that he was on track to shut up and claim a privileged position, but destroyed that to send a message of conscience.

      https://nypost.com/2024/12/09/us-news/person-of-interest-in-fatal-shooting-of-unitedhealthcare-boss-brian-thompson-idd-as-luigi-mangione-an-ex-ivy-league-student/

Man the owners hate him. I hope they continue to overplay their hand on that.

Good for him… Still a chad jaja

We don’t pick our heros, they come as they are

He clearly sees the same thing rest of workers see.

It means even more when you’re born into a position to just take the money and live like a pharoah on all of our backs as almost all born into such circumstances do…

…but instead choose to fight on behalf of those your class subjugates and murders for profit.

That is more than desperation. That is more than vengeance. That is conscience.

He’s a software guy. The difference between his take home pay which covers the cost of living, some hobbies, and a car, and a guy worth $50,000,000 is about $49,800,000.

I saw shit floating on reddit or twitter is that his family has money. they own shit. again could be misinformation but it tracks with UPen background.

with that being said IT DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER.

His work speaks for itself, and I am interested to hear what he has to say more than any media or regime talking head selling their ass for a few million.

This is easily something that would appear in subs or communities. Antiwork, workreform, boringdystopia, collapse, latestagecapitalism… I’d be surprised if there weren’t existing multiple posts mirroring what he wrote, minus any Unabomber references.

Which way did he write it?

In case anyone doesn’t know, “can’t eat your cake and have it too” is the correct order because once you eat it it’s gone and you can’t have it.

Except it doesn’t, the most popular order is nonsensical and Ted was right about it.

If someone asks you what you did yesterday, do you usually list events at random, or do you list them in chronological order? Sentences with multiple clauses are ordered by timeline by default.

So, of course you can have a cake and eat it too, you just won’t have a cake anymore at end of the sentence. What’s impossible is to eat the cake and still have if after that.

I think he’s more straight forward about his actions, which is good given the context. I don’t think we will have a treasure map to follow.

What we can do is learn from his mistakes.
