The only sides that comingle are the bishops and you can see that they’re on two different colors. Moving only diagonally, they’ll never meet nor can they leave that two block entryway.
Can somebody figure out if any of the pieces can escape? Seems to secured properly and at the same time seems like hasn’t been secured.

There are definitely pieces that can capture each other unless I am even worse at chess than I realized.
Pieces can only capture each other if they have differing colors.
