He’s a 14 year old Yorkiepoo, and still spry for his age. Speaking of finding food, he once found a whole turkey carcass in an alley when I was walking him the night of Thanksgiving. Sadly for him I couldn’t let him keep it, but I gave him a suitable replacement when we got home.
Hehe, I used to have a yorkie myself when I was a teenager.
Sounds like a better solution, don’t want them to get sick and a bird carcass might have some sharp bones as well.
Our current dog, Lady. She is a malamute / husky mix, mostly malamute. She’s too energetic and fast, so we rarely stop her in time.
She has caught a couple of mice before as well. I think maybe our cat has taught her to catch them, or maybe it’s just instinctual. The cat has always been a part of her life, and we used to live in a rural area where there were quite a few in the forest.
