I really love beautiful books and collecting them. I have a few of those classic hard bound books from Barnes & Noble and some of the imitation leathers from Discount Books, but I see the Folio Society and am shocked at the price.
But I hear the quality is great.
I’m considering purchasing Rendezvous with Rama. The art looks beautiful and the story sounds super intriguing, but it’s $100…
Are they worth the price?
Have you ever purchased one and thought it was a waste?
I have multiple from them and each one is absolutely beautiful. Not sure why some pics are sideways and some aren't! I swear I held the camera the same way!

They also have a nice set of the James Bond books, but they are 1 short. :( I can't justify buying the set until it's complete, I've been burned on that before. :)
(Octopussy is the missing one)
Have you already read all of these stories before purchasing the Folio version? They look gorgeous
American Gods is the only one I went into blind, but I've read a lot of Neil Gaiman and am very familiar with Dave McKean.
Everything else I was well familiar with.
