People who are not small minded petty assholes. Online and IRL, my entire life.

At best I get a few years out of a community before the small minded petty assholes take over, and typically at this point all the OG people who made it a great place to hang out are… gone and have moved on. So I move on too.

But when I am in that place it’s a really nice space for a few years to be around people who share my values.

Pretty similar also to when you find a really good author, director, or other media property and it’s really great for a brief time before it gets turned to crap or just abandoned.
