Patty leans over looking at Charlie Brown in his carpenter clothes stooping over, fiddling with his tools. She exclaims,“You’re going to fix the roof?!”

She follows him as he strides off with tool-box and wood in hand, and asks,“But that’s dangerous, Charlie Brown…what if you fall?”

He carries his tool-box to his workbench and replies,“What has to be done, has to be done!” She sits on a log, puts her hand to her mouth, and says,“Oh my!”

Snoopy sits in front of the doghouse and along with Patty watch Charlie Brown patch his roof.
