Two possible explanations:

1: A 37 year old mother living comfortably in suburbia has suddenly decided to become a domestic terrorist and tried to murder a law enforcement officer with her car but waited until the ICE officer wasn’t right in front of her car anymore to do it and steered away from him.

Or:

2: She was understandably scared given ICE’s track record of ruining the lives of innocent people and tried to escape the moment the ICE officer wasn’t in front of her vehicle anymore. Her front wheels were steered to the right while the officer was on the left clearly to avoid him. The officer also shot her while he was clearly not in the vehicle’s path anymore and shot her multiple times. The ICE agent simply had a huge lapse of judgement at best, or jumped on a bad excuse to murder a “leftist” woman on the streets at worst and now the whole damn organization is trying to cover up for him with a bullshit charge, setting a precedent that will lead to more innocent deaths by ICE officers.
