Yeah TBH I don’t either. I can come up with some partial explanations, like he tries to teach his son to shave on something inappropriate and so his wife divorces him, but it’s still not really clear.
Pretty sure he’s already divorced, and got the kid to shave the new husbands dog.
From the bonus panel, it seems like they shaved the word ‘bitch’ in to the fur of his dog.

I thought the note was setting an example of how to “be a man” (since son can’t shave yet) but then I don’t understand the bonus panel
