it’s partly self-selection: if making ourselves unhealhy, grotesque, & retarded-looking, proves “membership in the club”, then … people born into that culture are obliged to prefer it.
How utterly-depressing, that for-profit “culture” could do that to humanity, so successfully.
So, there’s at-least 2 sides to it: push & pull…
The only people who would push women to do that to themselves … don’t value women.
