yeah, it was either a creep exhibitionist or someone who was very very ill and a practitioner who was woefully unprepared for their discipline. there’s no in between in medicine. there’s no such thing as nudity, there’s just bodies.

Okay but what kind of doctor?

ENT clinic? Probably what the message is shooting for.

Surgeon? You’ll have a front facing gown, but your ass will most likely be on display.

ER? Why does that patient still have clothes on?? Grab some bandage scissors and chop that shit off!

Me: Puts on my finest clothes.

Doctor: “Take those off and put on this paper smock that exposes your ass. Also, all the surfaces and my instruments are cold.”

So specific it makes me think if people have a special “in-person doctor’s visit”-outfit and if its weird of me to not have one.

We once had a person arrive at the medical facility in the proverbial button down trench coat. Socks. Shoes.

If my doctor is unwilling to inspect my body then I will find a different doctor. I really miss my old doctor, he served in Vietnam and had good discipline, but he retired.
