Thinkpad T14 Gen2 it has touch screen so good for me cuz im a student i hope this is much more durable than my old ideapad (520)

    Is that XFCE and if so, how do you like it with touchscreen and trackpad gestures? In my experience, Gnome is best for that use. If you like Mint, maybe give Debian with Gnome a shot. If you want to explore outside of the Debian tree, maybe Fedora Workstation.

      yeah mint is my first distro my uncle uses debian i also want to try it thanks for advice

    I was also drawn in by the wallpaper, but I’m looking at your Linux Mint and thinking that looks more like (old) GNOME than KDE, is that KDE? That looks nice. I haven’t used Linux in years now, and I always preferred GNOME for looking more like macOS, but if that’s KDE (as Mint is known to use), I might have to adjust my preferences. (I also don’t have a machine that can run Linux anymore.)
