I did an entire move once using an office chair like this. Fortunately both apartments were in the same complex.

I can’t recall the exact timeframe but the world’s population has doubled in the last few decades. I’m not advocating for removing anyone but if we could slow down the making of new people that would benefit everyone.

I have multiple UV umbrellas (they have a gray reflective surface on the outside) and long sleeve UV shirts. Perforated jerseys are great too. They allow and flow while still blocking the sun quite a bit. Kilts are great if you can find one that’s not too heavy. Wide brim hats with the flap to cover your neck.

Sir_KevintoVirtual Reality@feddit.de•Immersed - the VR/AR professinal workspace platform - is going public3·2 years agoImmersed is developing their own headset. Also the Index is a terrible test case for a monitor replacement. It’s a great headset but the display is potatoe quality by today’s standards.
Sir_KevintoVirtual Reality@feddit.de•Immersed - the VR/AR professinal workspace platform - is going public2·2 years agoImmersed is developing their own HMD. That’s probably why they’re going public. That development is going to be expensive without backers. I really hope they pull it off. I want multiple virtual monitors in a small physical space where that’d otherwise be impossible.
Very well written and accurate. I just want to add that the financial requirements to raise children have been out the window for some time as well. Not that they would want to exist in a world with climate change anyway.
AI is here to stay. People need to adapt and embrace it or they absolutely will be left behind.
