Good. Hope it gets some traction.

“Brine” is the industry term for the waste byproduct of Desal operations. It’s not just salt, it’s all the particulates that were present in the water.
Seawater Desal operations have already caused many ecological disasters with the stuff, but brackish groundwater would probably be even more dangerous, and including higher concentrations of radioactive material. So you get the water out, but then you’re left with the sludge of everything else that needs to be disposed of somehow.
👍
5th largest economy on the planet by itself.
Two of the worst ones.
It’s the game quality, really. Same with most Nintendo systems I would say. Come for the motion gimmicks, but stay for the quality games.
Even though this doesn’t use seawater, it has the same drawbacks. Once done, you have a whole lot of toxic brine you need to deal with.
WOW. Sleep and rest are mistakes. TIL
God.Dammit.
Well our legal system is fucking done I guess.
Scottish Meth is a helluva drug.
There goes the internet.
I have some thoughts on this, but do want to echo what one other poster said about bulk buying ingredients. If you’re in the US, Costco accepts EBT at all stores, and I believe you don’t need a membership. I would also look online to find any and all local food assistance programs to help augment what you will have available to have available, because some rice and beans could absolutely change your life with some potatoes.
For recipes:
Some of these may need more ingredients, like a base broth, but most should be pretty minimal. I have all kinds of food buying and providing hacks if you need more tips, or mention a general area of where you’re at. Someone else may also know of other programs you can take advantage of.
You’re asking for a lot of different things that don’t align, so instead of trying to guess what you need, let me just throw a few things out there:
Yes, but he THINKS he is.
He’s a big believer in the whole “keeping people on drugs isn’t the fix” kind of thinking. It’s short-sighted and ignorant of the fact that a lot of people on them have a net benefit to function in society.
What he is proposing is something far more stupid akin to “Well look at me. I’ve never needed these drugs, and I’m totally fine. WTF, people?”
If you want a country that is doing the proper work to stop jumping to long-term prescriptions as problem solvers, I’m all for that. DO NOT confuse that with these dumb shit he’s suggesting though.
The guy just believes every weird crackpot theory against everything. It’s crazy.
The issue is more likely to be your port selection and UDP being discarded on networks with captive portals that generally only allow certain ports and traffic. Try using some other common UDP service ports like 53/DNS if not already in use, or maybe 5060/SIP, or even other common VPN ports.
Unless they’re running L7 hardware in the hotels, I doubt they’re doing any kind of packet inspection.
It’s more important to get that dmesg output AFTER an event happens, but before a reboot. What you’re running doesn’t matter much unless you have live metrics of their behavior or resources.
There is a huge gap in there that you don’t see though, and Salesforce profits greatly from it. Small and medium-sized businesses who hate using Salesforce, but premade alternatives aren’t customizable for what they need. Throw some customization at it, and you get exactly what you want.
This is essentially how SF became big to begin with. It sucked so bad, people hired engineers to build their extensions on top of it because it had the option. A capable FOSS solution opens the door to people being dedicated hosts for it, as well as offering pluggable solutions.
I understand the converse on its success, just see an opportunity to do better with it.
