Texas sued the Biden administration in an effort to block a new rule that seeks to protect the privacy of women living in states that ban abortion who travel out of state for the procedure.

In a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, opens new tab in Lubbock, Texas, the state is asking a federal judge to strike down the rule, which prohibits healthcare providers and insurers from giving state law enforcement authorities information about reproductive healthcare that is legal where it was provided.

President Joe Biden, a Democrat, said in announcing the rule in April that no one should have their medical records “used against them, their doctor, or their loved one just because they sought or received lawful reproductive health care.”

Isn’t that just like… fucking HIPPA? Medical information should be private for extremely good reasons.

Yes, but when you’re pregnant everyone knows that HIPPA doesn’t count.

You’re either with the Baby Murderers or you’re with Ken Paxton on this.

It’s almost never HIPAA (not HIPPA) but in this case it does seem relevant.

A quick search though and it looks like there are provisions in HIPAA allowing disclosure to law encourage officials for law enforce purposes.

    Please provide your pussy resume.

It’s because they don’t know enough about their wife’s own genitals. They don’t see those often enough to learn anything lol.

But in all seriousness: Very rape-y vibes from those guys, I have to say. Pretty gross.

Its because women are treated as property just like children are to these men. They only think for themselves and how their family can serve them best, and expect everyone to bend to their will and morals, whether they change daily or not.

America has a huge problem with raising a generation of people who’s focus was greed and who see life as a competition with other people as winners or losers. The concept of considering another perspective is completely foreign.

I mean, if I’m dating a girl (I’m married now, and not looking to change that) I’d be curious about her pussy resume.

More so to know if they carry any sort of VD. Mutual STD testing should be more common, in my mind. Doesn’t help for drunk hook-ups, but if you’re looking to get into a real relationship, I feel it should be more normalized.

People don’t get tested enough, I’ve been safe, but I should have been in a mutual testing situation in the past. Nothing happened to my dick, but this girl got around - I found out later. Wouldn’t have minded as much if I knew she had a clean bill of health, but that was never ascertained.

To people worrying, I got a vasectomy at 24. The incision site and the rest of my genitals got infected. They tested for STDs first (I was clean) and it was just was a general wound infection that took antibiotics. But the fear, man, the fear.

To be fair its partly due to young women not wanting to wear them either. Ive found most people don’t like them at all and prefer other means of preventing pregnancy or disease spread.

Male condoms are far more effective than female ones are. Never mind the fact that women are almost always in charge of birth control, ie: taking the pill, using an IUD, getting shots, etc.

Men need to be stepping up to the plate on STDs.

How effective are internal condoms at preventing pregnancy?

            • If you use them perfectly every single time you have sex, internal condom effectiveness is 95%. But people aren’t perfect, so in real life they’re about 79% effective — that means about 21 out of 100 people who use internal condoms as their main method of birth control will get pregnant each year. How effective are condoms against pregnancy?

            • If you use condoms perfectly every single time you have sex, they’re 98% effective at preventing pregnancy. But people aren’t perfect, so in real life condoms are about 87% effective — that means about 13 out of 100 people who use condoms as their only birth control method will get pregnant each year. I find those stats super confusing. Obviously having sex once has a lot less chance of causing a pregnancy than doing it every day for a year, so for them to quantify the annual risk of pregnancy, there must be a built-in assumption about how often people have sex. I find the idea of there being a normal amount of sex that everyone is expected to have weird and kind of gross.

Its the result of a study most likely. People reported their type of contraceptive type and any problems with it and whether they got pregnant that year?

Testing is not about a “pussy resume”; it’s about the state of her health right now, as it should be. You’re not entitled to information about a partner’s past.

What would you have us do? Paxton isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and Texans do not have the power to recall officials. We can’t protest because in 2023 they passed a law making basically all protests illegal.

Even if Texas goes blue Abbott and Paxton are still in office because they’re not up for reelection this year. Plus the state is so gerrymandered, even if it did go blue nationally, locally the dems probably couldn’t retake the state government.

Hate to say it but even if Kamala wins any women or queer person in Texas who can leave, should.
