Words didn’t really have prescribed spellings before modern dictionaries standardized things. If the audience could read it, then it was spelled correctly.
A) she was a whoor, B) she hit me… and that wasnt my kid she was carrying. It was the coke. She fell, I dunno.
Most middle/early-modern English was written in a more “west country” accent.
