Deleting social media apps completely and leaving phones or other devices at home are other tips being recommended.

Why are Irish people even going to the US?

Why is ANYBODY from ANYWHERE going to the US?

    Seriously, people. Stop that nonsense!

Seriously, don’t visit the US. Boycott this hellhole entirely. It sucks here. There are plenty of other, much better places to spend your time and money.

      No, that’s a common misconception.

You have the right to freeze your peaches, often shortened to freeze peach.

So much difficulty could have been avoided if people had learned to spell when writing that 2nd Amendment. (The US Constitution: So good it had to be fixed 27 times!)

So much for the old joke.

“In America, I can stand in front of the White House and yell ‘Down with Reagan!’ without fear of repercussions.”

“The same is true in Russia! I can stand in front of the Kremlin and yell, ‘Down with Reagan!’”

I think you can still yell “Down with Reagon!” though, both in front of the White House and in front of the Kremlin.

That’s easy enough for leisure travel but it’s harder for business or if you have family in the US.

Your business should not be sending you into danger like that when there’s perfectly good alternatives like, you know, not going.

If you have family in the US, for the love of all that’s Holy GET THEM OUT!

I wish my Irish relatives would throw me a lifeline. I’d leave a vapor trail behind me on my way out of here.

I don’t think the current government cares about anybody’s family and they’ll throw you Gitmo faster than the speed of light. What good are you to your relatives when you’re locked up in Gitmo?

There should be some sort of service where a US citizen in the US is paired with someone who wants to enter the US from another country, the US citizen would post whatever critical comments that the traveller wants to delete.

Kind of like Secret Santa, but for dissent.

This would be awesome, but you’d need some kind of randomizer in between so the critical comment can’t be linked to the traveller.

Also maybe an easy import/export of social media, so you can download all critical comments and leave them home. Maybe there should be a service that makes fake profiles you can rent while visiting the US.
