I have no problem assuming Bugs Bunny is in the same category as Tom Bombadil.
Bugs would absolutely put the ring down and forget where it was… or just be like “What a curiosity” and lose it.
Bugs doesn’t want power… I’m not really sure he actually wants anything. In his later incarnations, he was just minding his own business when some evil-doer comes out of nowhere to fuck up his set.
Bugs Bunny is chaotic neutral. Somewhere between the batman and joker.
When Samwise briefly carries the ring he gets visions of gardens and greenery ever expanding… in the cartoon it’s quite amusing.
If it was Bugs I’d suspect he’d just see carrots, carrots everywhere. The question is whether Bugs would snap out of it and be happy with the carrot(s) he already has, or keep the ring and have infinite
powercarrots :P
